Mary Bennet Returns: New "Other Bennet Sister" Special

A special three-part event for "The Other Bennet Sister" is set to premiere this holiday season, offering fans an early Christmas gift. Ella Bruccoleri is reprising her role as Mary Bennet, who accepted Tom Hayward's (Dónal Finn) proposal in the Season 1 finale. The new installments will explore Mary's journey as she navigates her new identity as Mrs. Hayward.

Several cast members are returning, including Ruth Jones as Mrs. Bennet and Tanya Reynolds as Caroline Bingley. The series, based on Janice Hadlow's novel, is adapted by Sarah Quintrell. Producer Jane Tranter indicated that while "The Other Bennet Sister" was initially a limited series, the potential for future seasons depends on the author's ideas. The first season was well-received, praised for being "immensely charming and thoughtful."
