The 97th Academy Awards are currently celebrating film achievements at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
"Sinners" has achieved a record-breaking 16 nominations, with "One Battle After Another" close behind with 13 nods. "Sentimental Value" and "Hamnet" also received significant nominations.
History was made by Emma Stone, the youngest woman nominated twice for acting and Best Picture for the same film. Timothée Chalamet is the youngest person, at age 30, to receive both Best Actor and Best Picture nominations in the same year for "Marty Supreme."
New talent also shines, with nine individuals receiving their first acting nominations. The event is hosted by Conan O'Brien, with a star-studded lineup of presenters.
The 98th Oscars are scheduled for March 15, 2026, at the same venue and will air live on ABC.
