In a significant move, acclaimed documentarian Morgan Neville has signed with Cinetic for representation in directing. Neville, who has won an Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy, is known for his critically acclaimed films such as '20 Feet from Stardom' and 'Won't You Be My Neighbor?'.
According to Cinetic's Founder & CEO John Sloss, the company is thrilled to be working with Neville, whom they describe as a "world-class storyteller." Sloss stated that their goal is to amplify Neville's documentary pursuits and help facilitate his "inevitable expansion into scripted storytelling."
Neville's impressive filmography includes the Oscar-winning '20 Feet from Stardom', which explored the lives of backup singers, and the Emmy-winning 'Best of Enemies', which chronicled the televised debates between Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley Jr. Most recently, Neville premiered 'Man on the Run', a documentary about Paul McCartney's life and career in the 1970s, at the Telluride Film Festival. The film is set to be released by Amazon MGM in February 2026.
