Oscar Winner Tackles Scottish Soccer Doc

Oscar-winning producer Charles B. Wessler has taken on a new project, a documentary about the Scottish soccer team Partick Thistle.

"One Team in Glasgow," directed by three-time Emmy nominee Sam Neave, promises an unfiltered look at the club.

The film delves into the inner workings of Partick Thistle, from dressing rooms to boardrooms, showcasing its journey through the latest season.

The documentary highlights the club's unique position as a community-driven alternative in Glasgow, a city dominated by larger football clubs.

This project taps into a growing trend of sports documentaries, similar to the popular "Welcome to Wrexham."

Director Sam Neave expressed excitement, stating the experience was a career highlight and the doc aims to resonate beyond football fans.

Produced by Nest Productions Scotland, the series is set to air on STV later this month.
