Oscar Frontrunner 'One Battle After Another' Preps for Digital, Physical Debuts

The highly anticipated film 'One Battle After Another', directed by Paul Anderson, is gearing up for its digital and physical releases over the coming months. The Warner Bros. production will first make its digital debut this Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, on platforms including AppleTV, Amazon Prime Video, and Fandango at Home.

In the new year, the film will then arrive on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, just two days before the announcement of the nominees for the 98th Academy Awards. Later in the spring of 2026, a special collectible steelbook packaging of the 4K UHD version will also become available, featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes content created by Anderson himself.

Anderson's film centers on a revolutionary-turned-stoner, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, who is raising his self-reliant daughter off the grid. When his past catches up to him and his daughter disappears, he turns to old friends, portrayed by Benicio del Toro and Regina Hall, for help. The film is widely considered a top Oscar contender, with Anderson expected to seriously contend for his first-ever Academy Award win in both the directing and writing categories. DiCaprio and his co-star Chase Infiniti are also strong candidates in the lead acting categories.
