Orlando Bloom Lists Malibu Ocean View Home for $12M

Orlando Bloom's impressive Malibu home is now on the market with a $12 million asking price. He has owned the four-bedroom, five-bathroom property since 2011, having acquired it with his then-wife Miranda Kerr. Bloom has expressed that now is the appropriate time to sell the home where their son, Flynn, spent his formative years.

The 4,180-square-foot mansion is situated above El Matador State Beach, offering spectacular ocean views. Bloom's decision to list the property at a significantly higher price than his original $2.5 million purchase is attributed to extensive renovations. He told The Wall Street Journal that these updates cost more than double the initial investment.

Bloom completely reimagined the ground floor, converting a previously 'higgledy, piggledy' layout into an open kitchen and living area featuring vibrant tiles and cabinets. He also added an outdoor pool that overlooks the ocean. The estate provides a sense of sanctuary within a private, gated community and includes direct beach access. The actor has reportedly been living further north in California for years.
