Netflix's live-action 'One Piece' is officially renewed for Season 3, poised to adapt the epic Alabasta Saga. Showrunners have confirmed that production is scaling up for this ambitious chapter, which will see Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates ally with Princess Vivi to thwart a civil war in the desert kingdom of Alabasta. The arc spans manga chapters 155 to 217.
Filming for Season 3 commenced in late 2025 in South Africa, even before Season 2's March 10, 2026 premiere. Given the extensive CGI requirements for its battles and effects, a release in mid- to late-2027 is anticipated.
The core Straw Hat cast returns, led by Iñaki Godoy as Luffy. They will be joined by newly promoted series regulars including Charithra Chandran as Vivi, Joe Manganiello as Crocodile, and Lera Abova as Nico Robin. Xolo Maridueña joins as Portgas D. Ace, adding significant brotherly dynamics and Devil Fruit action to the narrative.
