Netflix's live-action adaptation of One Piece is advancing into its third season, with co-showrunner Joe Tracz now collaborating with Ian Stokes. This upcoming season is set to focus on the significant Alabasta arc, featuring the antagonist warlord Crocodile. Tracz highlighted that the adaptation process prioritizes giving crucial storylines, such as the Alabasta saga and the development of Princess Vivi, adequate narrative breathing room. This approach ensures that the emotional weight and character arcs are fully realized for both long-time fans and new viewers.

The production team aims to capture the essence of the One Piece universe, balancing faithfulness to the manga with the demands of live-action storytelling.
