Having welcomed his son Albert in September 2025 with his wife Amelia Tank, Murs explained that fatherhood has provided him with a new perspective. He intends to dedicate this year to his family, focusing on his wife and their two children, rather than music commitments.

Murs previously shared how challenging it was to be away from his newborn son due to tour obligations. He had promised his wife, Amelia, that 2026 would be a quieter year with him around more often.

Amelia Tank, Murs's wife, had also recently celebrated her postpartum body, a moment Murs publicly praised, calling her an 'unbelievable, incredible wife' with 'two beautiful kids'.
