Despite stepping down from the Miss Universe Africa and Oceania role, she will retain her Miss Côte d'Ivoire title.
Following Yacé's announcement, the owner of the Miss Universe Organization, Raul Rocha, alluded to visa restrictions as a potential factor in her not winning the main title, suggesting it could impact a winner's ability to travel extensively.
