Rodrigo Swings into Emotional New Era with Album Teaser

Olivia Rodrigo recently unveiled a new song from her upcoming album, "You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love," scheduled for release on June 12. The performance featured Rodrigo seated on a swing, a visual echoed in the album's cover art. The track itself is a melancholic ballad exploring themes of longing and uncertainty, with lyrics expressing a desire for unwavering devotion.

Recorded with producer Dan Nigro, who collaborated on her previous albums "Sour" and "Guts," this new project is characterized by Rodrigo as a collection of "sad love songs." These songs originate from a more introspective emotional state. Rodrigo's recent activities also include hosting and performing a parody, alongside appearances at Coachella and a special show in Los Angeles.
