Actress Olivia Colman, celebrated for her roles in 'The Crown' and 'The Favourite,' has revealed she has always 'felt sort of nonbinary.' In a recent interview, the 52-year-old candidly stated she has 'never felt massively feminine.' She humorously recounted describing herself to her husband as a 'gay man,' a sentiment he understood, contributing to her feeling at ease.

Colman's personal reflections align with her current professional endeavors. She is starring in the new queer film 'Jimpa,' portraying a mother accompanying her nonbinary child on a visit to their father. This role underscores the actress's engagement with themes of gender identity and inclusivity, as she previously noted a preference for spending time with individuals not 'staunchly heterosexual.'

Separately, Colman also shared anecdotes about her Academy Award, which she won in 2019. She admitted to keeping the trophy out of sight, first in a cupboard and later on a bookshelf behind a book, due to concerns about it appearing 'ostentatious' or 'showy-offy.' This decision stemmed partly from damp issues in her old house, prompting a handyman to move the award from a damp cupboard to a bookshelf.
