Offset Shot During Casino Robbery Attempt

Offset, a member of the acclaimed hip-hop group Migos, was the victim of an attempted robbery and shooting incident last week outside a Seminole Hard Rock casino in Hollywood, Florida. A large group ambushed the rapper, firing a single shot that struck his leg. The assailants also attempted to steal his watch before escaping.

Following the incident, suspects fled in two Chevrolet SUVs, one heading toward Hollywood, Florida, and the other southbound towards Miami. While two individuals were detained by law enforcement, including rapper Lil Tjay, authorities have not yet linked them directly to the shooting. Lil Tjay was reportedly involved in a prior altercation and faced charges unrelated to the gun violence.

Despite the attack and a brief hospitalization, Offset has resumed his performance schedule, appearing at a music festival at the University of Arkansas on Saturday. This incident tragically echoes the past, as Offset's cousin and fellow Migos member, Takeoff, was shot and killed in Houston over three years prior.
