Off Campus Season 2: Romance Shocks Viewers!
19 May
Summary
- Season 1 focused on Hannah and Garrett's romance.
- Showrunners altered book order, highlighting Dean and Allie.
- New drama introduced to foster individual growth for leads.
The popular "Off Campus" series, inspired by Elle Kennedy's novels, is set for a second season, promising more drama and romance centered around an elite ice hockey team. Season 1 explored the "opposites attract" story of Hannah and Garrett. However, the show has diverged from the book series' intended order by heavily featuring Dean and Allie's story.
This deviation has led to anticipation and surprise among fans, with showrunner Abdalla acknowledging the online speculation. The inclusion of a new character, Hunter Davenport, was a strategic choice to slow down Dean and Allie's relationship and encourage their individual growth, especially after Allie's recent breakup. This narrative shift sets the stage for deeper character exploration in season 2.
India Fowler has joined as Grace, Logan's future love interest, prompting further questions about season 2's focus. Meanwhile, actors Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright have confirmed their return, assuring fans they will be part of the ongoing narrative as each season potentially focuses on a different couple within the Briar University hockey team.
