Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" is on the cusp of a monumental achievement, projected to surpass $1 billion in worldwide box office earnings this coming Friday. This milestone positions the film as potentially the highest-grossing R-rated movie in cinematic history. In its third weekend, the Universal Pictures release earned $51 million domestically and $136 million globally, bringing its total to $395 million in North America and $911 million worldwide by Sunday.
