The horror film "Obsession" delves into the dangers of unchecked desires, centered on Bear's wish for his co-worker Nikki's love. Using a magical trinket from a spiritualist shop, Bear wishes for Nikki to love him exclusively.
Nikki's overwhelming obsession quickly turns sinister. Her devotion escalates to dangerous actions, including the murder of their friend Sarah after Bear secretly met with her. Bear discovers that his wish can only be broken by his death, Nikki's death, or by reversing the spell.
In a desperate attempt to end the madness, Bear attempts suicide. However, Nikki intervenes by using the One Wish Willow herself, wishing for Bear to love her as much as she loves him. This wish transforms Bear, but he then collapses from an overdose, dying.
Bear's death tragically breaks his original wish, releasing Nikki's true spirit. While free from the magical influence, Nikki is left to confront the horrific consequences of her actions during the period she was under the spell.
