19 Apr
Summary
- John Cena praised Oba Femi as an equal match for Brock Lesnar.
- Oba Femi could become WWE's next major star if he wins.
- Brock Lesnar may be considering retirement after SummerSlam.
John Cena, a former world champion, has voiced strong support for rookie Oba Femi ahead of his pivotal WrestleMania match against Brock Lesnar. Cena described Femi as an "even match" for Lesnar, highlighting the Nigerian wrestler's unique courage to face Lesnar without being an underdog. This encounter at WrestleMania presents a potential "star-making performance" opportunity for Femi, reminiscent of Cena's own rise to superstardom in 2005.
WWE is reportedly looking to Oba Femi to carry the company, a rare opportunity that arises only once or twice a decade. Should Femi emerge victorious against Lesnar, he could be set for a career path similar to Cena's, potentially dominating the wrestling scene for the next two decades. Meanwhile, rumors suggest Brock Lesnar might be winding down his career, with SummerSlam in his home state of Minnesota possibly serving as his retirement match.
