Summary
- Oasis founding member Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs diagnosed with prostate cancer
- Arthurs to take a break from the band's reunion tour for treatment
- Tour to continue without Arthurs, who will rejoin in November

In a surprising turn of events, Oasis founding member Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs has announced that he will be taking a temporary break from the band's reunion tour due to a prostate cancer diagnosis. Arthurs shared the news on his Instagram account on Friday, revealing that he was diagnosed with the condition earlier this year.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Arthurs remains optimistic, stating that he is "responding really well to treatment" and will be able to rejoin the tour in time for the South American leg in November. However, he will be missing the upcoming shows in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Sydney.
The Oasis Live '25 World Tour, which kicked off on July 4 in Cardiff, Wales, has been highly anticipated by fans following the long-held sibling rivalry between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, which led to the band's dissolution in 2009. The tour's next stop after Arthurs' break will be in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 15 and 16.
Arthurs expressed his sadness at having to miss the upcoming shows, but he remains positive and looks forward to reuniting with the band on stage in the near future. The news of his diagnosis and temporary departure from the tour is sure to be a disappointment for Oasis fans, but they can take solace in the fact that the reunion tour will continue, and Arthurs will be back in time to join his bandmates for the South American leg of the tour.
