Fagbenle Hints at Handmaid's Tale Return, Embraces Sci-Fi Comedy

Actor O-T Fagbenle has ignited discussion regarding a possible return to the world of The Handmaid's Tale, suggesting that conversations about his involvement are underway. He recently praised the performances in the new series, The Testaments, and lauded Chase Infiniti for her role as his onscreen daughter.

Fagbenle is currently making waves as Richard in the Peacock sci-fi romantic comedy, The Miniature Wife. Based on Manuel Gonzalez's short story, the film sees his character navigate a complex relationship after his wife, Lindy (Elizabeth Banks), is shrunk to six inches. Fagbenle described his role as being in his "lover boy era" and relished the opportunity for a fun, fantastical project after a heavy drama.

Viewers of The Miniature Wife will note that Fagbenle's character also shrinks himself. While Lindy eventually returns to her normal size, Richard's fate was left ambiguous. When asked about the possibility of a spinoff focusing on his character, Fagbenle enthusiastically confirmed readiness, stating, "We're ready for the spinoff."
