During the song, Lance Bass made an unexpected appearance on stage, much to the delight of the audience. Bass had been attending a performance of "Titanique" nearby but managed to make it to the Stephen Sondheim Theatre just in time for the song's finale, sprinting through Manhattan streets.
While this particular reunion was a one-time event, "It's Gonna Be Me" is a regular feature in & Juliet. The musical itself is a jukebox production celebrating the music of prolific songwriter Max Martin, whose hits include songs by artists like Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson.
