13 Nov
Summary
- Dave Franco plans to "disappear for a while" after busy 2025
- Starred in 4 new films this year, plus Emmy-nominated TV role
- Reprised role in "Now You See Me" franchise's latest installment

Dave Franco, the star of the "Now You See Me" franchise, is taking a much-needed break from the spotlight. Over the past year, the actor has been incredibly busy, churning out four new movies and even earning an Emmy nomination for a cameo appearance on the hit TV series "The Studio."
However, with the release of the third installment in the "Now You See Me" series, in which Franco reprises his role as the slight-of-hand expert Jack Wilder, the actor is ready for a hiatus. "Basically, we're getting through this week of press and then I will disappear for a while," he recently told People magazine. "I'm sure people are sick of me, and I will go to the middle of nowhere and climb into a hole."
When asked how long his break will last, Franco coyly responded, "You'll see me when you see me." In addition to the new "Now You See Me" sequel, the actor also appeared in the films "Bubble & Squeak," "Regretting You," and "Together," the latter of which co-starred his wife, Alison Brie. He also lent his voice to roles on the animated series "Krapopolis" and "Long Story Short."
Despite his planned hiatus, Franco still has a few upcoming projects in the works, including the comedy "The Sh*theads" and the DreamWorks animated film "Forgotten Island."
