Christopher Nolan's cinematic rendition of Homer's "The Odyssey" is achieving significant box office success, surpassing $300 million globally. This adaptation tackles the ancient epic's mythical creatures and perilous challenges, offering a spectacle designed for IMAX presentation.

The film delves into the practical effects used to realize iconic monsters. For the formidable cyclops Polyphemus, a 60-foot puppet was constructed, complemented by miniatures for close-up shots. This approach ensures a tangible and imposing presence for the creature.
