Kahan's participation in the Sept. 14 ceremony in Los Angeles coincides with a significant year for the artist. His latest album, "The Great Divide," achieved the third-biggest debut week of the year, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last month. This success follows his breakthrough album, "Stick Season."
"The Great Divide" was later expanded to include four additional tracks, bringing the total to 21 songs. Kahan recently concluded his extensive "Great Divide" tour, which included sold-out stadium shows across the country, such as at Pasadena's Rose Bowl and Boston's Fenway Park. The ceremony was hosted by Mariska Hargitay at the Peacock Theater.
