Noah Kahan Dreams of Nickelodeon Slime Victory

As of November 14, 2026, Noah Kahan is a nominee for the 2026 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. The singer-songwriter humorously celebrated his nomination for favorite male breakout artist on X, reflecting on a decade of career effort. Kahan's primary excitement, however, stems from the anticipated experience of being covered in Nickelodeon's iconic green slime. He expressed a playful eagerness for this messy tradition. This recognition arrives during a peak in Kahan's career, following the substantial success of his 2022 album, "Stick Season." The album's popularity, boosted by expanded editions and its title track, introduced his folk-pop style to a broader audience. His single "The Great Divide" also achieved a career-high on the Billboard Hot 100. Kahan is nominated alongside artists such as BigXthaPlug and Don Toliver.
