The EP is scheduled for release on August 21 via Hand Drawn Dracula. A video for the title track, "Big Life, Big Leaf," has been released, showcasing a psychedelic aesthetic. White-Gluz described the song as exploring the "boundless pain" felt during goodbyes, while also highlighting the importance of finding joy and celebrating even in grief.
'Bugland' was No Joy's fifth full-length album. Angel Marcloid recently released her debut album on Warp Records, titled 'Lavender Networks'. The collaboration between White-Gluz and Marcloid continues to explore complex emotional landscapes through their distinct musical styles.
