Mollywood actor Nivin Pauly is currently enjoying the success of his latest film, 'Bethlehem Kudumba Unit', directed by Girish AD. This film has resonated with audiences, emerging as a significant hit and marking a strong comeback for Pauly in the Malayalam film industry. Pauly has previously shared the profound impact of the devastating 2018 Kerala floods on his family home in Aluva. The actor revealed that his childhood residence was submerged during the calamity, necessitating a comprehensive renovation. He chose to use traditional teak wood sourced from Nilambur during the repair process.

During a recent 'Gokulam Night' event in Nilambur in January 2025, Pauly expressed his gratitude to those who supported him through difficult times. He spoke about the flood's effect on his home and his decision to integrate Nilambur teak into the renovation, noting, "The trees from Nilambur are now part of my home." This event also provided him an opportunity to explain his recent absence from public gatherings.

Pauly elaborated that he had consciously stepped away from public events following personal challenges he faced. He specifically mentioned his mentor, Gopalan Chettan, whose invitation prompted his attendance at the Nilambur event. The actor pledged to return with successful films in the upcoming year, emphasizing his reliance on unwavering audience support and love.
