Nintendo's My Mario: Wood Blocks Meet Amiibo

Nintendo has launched its My Mario toy collection in the U.S. and Europe, featuring a unique fusion of classic wood blocks and modern Amiibo technology. Available in various piece counts, these sets include figurines of iconic characters such as Mario, Princess Peach, Yoshi, and Luigi. The blocks are constructed from sturdy beech wood, ensuring durability and child-safe handling.

Each My Mario character figure doubles as an Amiibo, compatible with the Nintendo Switch and its successor. While they unlock content, these figures provide the same in-game benefits as their original counterparts. The collection is available in physical Nintendo stores, with pricing noted for European markets.

Alongside the physical toys, Nintendo offers the free Hello, Mario app. This application allows users to manipulate Mario's face on their touchscreen devices, applying special effects and even making him grow with a mega mushroom. Parents can enable a "go to sleep" feature for Mario within the app.

Further expanding the My Mario brand, Nintendo is releasing a range of merchandise, including clothing and baby items like rattles and blankets. These offerings aim to engage children through a mix of physical play, digital interaction, and branded apparel.
