Summary
- Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize unite as Nine Inch Noize.
- Their collaborative album "Halo 38" releases April 17.
- The project follows their joint performance at Coachella.

The legendary industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, fronted by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, is joining forces with electronic music producer Boys Noize for a new collaborative project. Operating under the moniker Nine Inch Noize, the duo has announced their upcoming album, "Halo 38," slated for release on April 17, 2026.
This collaboration builds on a history of successful partnerships between the artists. Boys Noize, real name Alex Ridha, previously remixed Nine Inch Nails' work and contributed to their "Tron: Ares" soundtrack. Their track "As Alive as You Need Me to Be" even garnered a Grammy for Best Rock Song in February 2026. The artists also collaborated during Nine Inch Nails' "Peel It Back" tour last year, performing live remixes on a B-stage.
The announcement coincides with Nine Inch Noize's scheduled performances at Coachella this weekend. A billboard advertising "Halo 38" has already been spotted near Indio, California, the festival's location. Fans speculate that some of the live remixes performed on tour might be included in the new album, which follows the naming convention of previous Nine Inch Nails releases.
