The costume choice may have been a nod to Dobrev's ex-fiancé, as White, like Chucky, is known for his fiery red hair. News of their sudden split broke in September 2025, just 11 days after the former couple were photographed holding hands in public and had recently posed together on social media.
Despite the breakup, sources close to Dobrev and White confirmed that there was "no cheating at all" during their five-year relationship and that they both wanted to start a family before the engagement ended.
