Nihalani Blames Govinda's Decline on Bad Company

The late filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani had previously spoken about the reasons behind actor Govinda's career downturn. Nihalani attributed Govinda's struggles significantly to his choice of company, particularly his trust in pundits and astrologers. He felt this reliance on superstitious advice, coupled with a negative atmosphere around him, damaged his film career.

Nihalani also pointed to alleged professional interference, stating that David Dhawan had negatively influenced Govinda against him. This was during a period when Govinda, despite past successes, faced difficulties with film releases after his peak in the 2000s. Meanwhile, Govinda's son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, is now poised to enter the film industry with his upcoming debut.
