Niecy Nash-Betts and Jessica Betts are preparing to mark six years of marriage on August 29, 2026. Ahead of their anniversary, Nash-Betts shared a humorous Instagram post showcasing how their relationship has changed since they tied the knot on August 29, 2020.

Betts has already begun the anniversary celebrations by surprising Nash-Betts with significant early gifts. These included a large bouquet of red roses presented on August 7, and additional roses shared throughout a weekend dedicated to her. Betts also posted sweet tributes on TikTok, emphasizing "My Wife" and that the week was "All About YOU."

The couple, who often express their affection publicly, also acknowledged National Couples Day earlier in August with a joint Instagram post. Nash-Betts previously revealed their unique marriage rule: "Only make love to each other." They also shared deeper insights, stressing the importance of being intentional, loving, thoughtful, and considerate, alongside embracing therapy.

Reflecting on their past, their fifth anniversary was celebrated with an intimate Mardi Gras-themed event at their California home, a tribute to their New Orleans beginnings. Nash-Betts stated that their marriage has taught her about complete acceptance and the freedom to "take up all the space."
