Actor Nidhhi Agerwal experienced a chaotic scene on December 18, 2025, at Hyderabad's Lulu Mall during a promotional event for the film 'The Raja Saab.' Large crowds of eager fans gathered for the song launch, overwhelming security and pressing in on the actor. Video footage showed Agerwal struggling to navigate the dense crowd, with fans attempting to interact and take photos, raising safety concerns.
The KPHB Inspector confirmed that the organizers lacked the required permission for the public gathering at the mall. The police initiated a suo motu case, taking independent action after reviewing the incident and observing the severe lack of crowd management, which potentially endangered attendees. This independent action underscores the seriousness of the security lapses.
Investigators are now probing the event for potential security failures and assessing whether enhanced measures could have prevented the situation from escalating. Further legal action will be determined by the findings of the ongoing police inquiry into how the event unfolded and the responsibilities of those involved in its organization.
