Kidman described sitting down as a young girl and being transformed by the club's patrons who would apply makeup and style her hair. These experiences were pivotal, sparking her lifelong interest in clothes and cosmetics.

This passion has extended to her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Kidman noted her elder daughter's strong sense of identity and European style. Sunday Rose made her runway debut at Miu Miu's Paris Fashion Week show in October 2024 and walked again in March 2025.
