Actress Nicole Kidman has voiced her regret over not being a part of Denis Villeneuve's highly successful Dune film trilogy. Kidman, who considers herself a devoted fan, referred to herself as a "Dunie" and admitted her deep obsession with the sci-fi saga. She playfully suggested director Villeneuve should ask her to be in future projects, though she also conceded that her true preference is to simply enjoy the films as a viewer. The current cinematic journey with Dune: Part Three is set to conclude in theaters on December 18th, completing Villeneuve's adaptation of Frank Herbert's novels. Meanwhile, the HBO spin-off series, Dune: Prophecy, has been greenlit for a second season. Production for this expansion of the Dune universe commenced last November across Hungary, Jordan, and Spain.
