Kidman's daughters want personal space from mom
5 Mar
Summary
- Kidman desires constant company from her daughters.
- Daughters prefer personal space from their mother.
- Divorce finalized in January after 2025 split.

Nicole Kidman revealed that while she cherishes her bond with daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, the teens have set boundaries regarding constant togetherness. Kidman admitted she would prefer them with her "at all times," but her daughters have made it clear they require personal space from their mother.
Speaking at the premiere of her new TV series, Scarpetta, Kidman noted that she respects her daughters' autonomy. She believes young women should define themselves, not have their identity dictated by others. She expressed a deep desire for their constant presence, calling them "my loves."
This personal revelation comes as Kidman's divorce from ex-husband Keith Urban was finalized on January 6, 2026. The couple, who had lived in Nashville since 2007, initially separated on September 30, 2025. Citing "irreconcilable differences," Kidman filed for divorce, with the proceedings concluding four months later.
The divorce agreement stipulates that all properties, trusts, and business assets remain separate, suggesting a prenuptial agreement was in place. Kidman has primary residential custody, with Sunday and Faith living with her for 306 days a year and with Urban for 59 days. Notably, neither parent will pay child support, and joint decisions will be made regarding healthcare and education. A clause also mandates that neither parent will speak negatively about the other to maintain a united front for their daughters.
