Kidman explained her decision to fly home frequently, stating, "I got to be there taking care." This proactive approach ensures she remains present for her daughters, who are navigating junior year and freshman year of high school. Her co-star Zoe Saldana noted Kidman's dedication, observing, "Nicole would [have joined us] if she was there, but as soon as Nicole finishes, she flies home to her family."

The series 'Lioness,' created by Taylor Sheridan, features Nicole in a supporting role that was specifically created to accommodate her travel needs. Initially, she was only set to be an executive producer. This role allows her to balance professional obligations with her commitment to her daughters.

Nicole and Keith Urban finalized their divorce in January 2026, nearly twenty years after their marriage.
