In a high-profile divorce case, Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has been awarded primary custody of her two daughters with estranged husband, country singer Keith Urban. The divorce was officially filed by Kidman on September 30, 2025, after news of their separation emerged the previous day.
According to the court documents, Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, have agreed to a parenting plan that sees Kidman becoming the primary residential parent of their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Under the agreement, Kidman will have the girls for 306 days, while Urban will have them for 59 days.
The former couple has also worked out a schedule for major decisions regarding their daughters and have agreed not to speak badly of each other or other family members. Both Kidman and Urban are also required to attend a parenting seminar within 60 days of the divorce filing.
Alongside her teenage daughters, Kidman is also mother to Bella, 32, and Connor, 30, from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise. Kidman and Urban have been married since 2006 and have called Nashville home since 2007, where they raised their two girls.
