Nicolas Cage is set to star in the action-thriller 'Parish,' a film set three decades after a nuclear apocalypse. Cage will portray a survivor who has rigorously maintained his safety by never allowing anyone inside his fortified gate. This strict rule is challenged when a woman carrying a baby appears, forcing him to choose between his isolation and compassion. His decision will expose his refuge and attract a vicious band of cannibals. Filming for 'Parish' is scheduled to commence in October in Minnesota. The project is being developed by writer-director Adam Sigal and produced by Joel Shapiro and Steven Tyler Sahlein. David Tattersall, known for his cinematography on the Star Wars prequels, will serve as the director of photography.
