Nick Lachey: Hawaii flight with ex Jessica Simpson was 'strangely okay'

Pop star Nick Lachey recently shared details about an unexpected reunion with his ex-wife, Jessica Simpson, aboard a flight to Hawaii. The encounter, which occurred after a 20-year period without seeing each other, was described by Lachey as "strangely okay." He clarified that their time in the same vicinity on the six-and-a-half-hour flight was cordial and respectful.

Both Lachey and Simpson were traveling with their families. Simpson was accompanied by her mother, Tina, and her children, who were seated in a different class of service. Lachey mentioned that Simpson's current husband, Eric Johnson, was also on the plane, and the situation was "fine."

Lachey, who was married to Simpson from 2002 to 2006, has since married Vanessa Lachey. They currently host the reality series 'Love Is Blind.' This flight marks a notable instance of their paths crossing after their public divorce in 2006.
