Nick Jonas' Frozen Audition Flop Revealed

During a recent episode of the 'Hey Jonas!' podcast, Nick Jonas shared a humorous anecdote about his failed audition for the animated Disney film Frozen. He revealed he had auditioned for the role of Kristoff, a part ultimately played by Jonathan Groff.

Jonas recounted that he was unprepared for the audition, admitting, "I went in for Kristoff... and they said, 'Okay, what are you going to be singing today?' I said, 'Oh, I don't know.'" He explained that he didn't have his sheet music, which led to him 'bombing the audition.' Co-star Kristen Bell, who voices Anna, playfully responded, "That must have been why you didn't get it."

Despite his personal audition mishap, Nick Jonas expressed his enjoyment of the finished film, stating he wasn't spite-watching it. Frozen achieved immense critical and commercial success, grossing $1.3 billion globally. Its sequel, released in 2019, further added $1.5 billion to the franchise's earnings.

While Jonas didn't land a role in Frozen, he has since achieved significant success in music and acting, including his work with the Jonas Brothers and roles in projects like 'Camp Rock' and 'Jumanji: The Next Level.'
