Nicholas Brendon is embroiled in a legal battle with his former contractor, Stephen Britton, concerning renovations at his Midwest property. Brendon initiated a lawsuit, seeking over $120,000 for alleged unfinished work on his Ohio home. However, Britton counter-alleged that he and his employees endured harassment, including Brendon swearing and throwing objects.
Britton further claimed his safety was compromised, stating Brendon placed an Airtag in his work bag to track his movements. Brendon admitted to placing the tracker but denied knowledge of its function or intent to stalk, asserting he found it on his garage floor. Britton's legal team reported fear for their lives, citing weapons on Brendon's property.
Brendon's legal representative highlighted his client's disabilities, describing him as calm and non-threatening. Despite these claims, Britton alleged an unsafe working environment, including Brendon's assistant sleeping in the work area. The assistant, however, stated she slept when no workers were present and sought quiet.
Brendon's lawsuit details significant financial disputes, with claims of $79,441 paid to Britton, but only fence installation completed. He seeks to recover $121,260 with interest for breach of contract and an unpaid loan of $20,000 made in 2025.
