Actress Nia Long recounted a memorable, yet missed, interaction with the late music icon Prince. During an interview, Long shared that Prince once attempted to flirt with her, but she was unaware of his identity at the moment.
She explained that she was wearing specific shoes when Prince approached her and took her hand. It wasn't until they were leaving that a friend informed her it was indeed Prince. Long expressed regret, stating she would have greeted him properly had she known.
Later in her acting career, Long met Prince again. He complimented her haircut, but by then, any romantic pursuit was long over. Prince passed away in April 2016 at the age of 57.
