In October 2025, Shannon Domingsil, a 27-year-old woman, is leaving her position as the NFL's social media programmer after 5 eventful seasons. At just 22 years old, Domingsil took over the league's official TikTok account in 2020, growing its following to a staggering 18 million people and amassing over 1.4 billion likes.
Domingsil's journey to the NFL began in her hometown of Honolulu, where she had always dreamed of making it big in the entertainment industry. After graduating college in May 2020, she applied for the NFL's social media programmer role and landed the job, despite not being a huge sports fan. Over the next 5 years, Domingsil worked tirelessly, constantly monitoring multiple video feeds, editing content, and posting as fast as she could during the hectic game days, even working on Thanksgivings.
Now, Domingsil is ready to pivot and pursue her lifelong passion of becoming a pop singer. She has moved back to Hawaii and picked up some contract work, giving her more flexibility to focus on her musical aspirations. Domingsil hopes that one day, she'll be performing sold-out shows in the same stadiums where she used to create social media content for the NFL.
