Newport Folk Fest 2026: Schedule Revealed!

The 2026 Newport Folk Festival has unveiled its full schedule, offering concertgoers precise timings for performances from July 24-26. Gates will open daily at 10 a.m., with headliners concluding around 7:45 p.m. in Fort Adams State Park.
Nathaniel Rateliff & Friends are set to close the festival on Sunday, marking the end of Rateliff's term as a Newport Folk Steward. His performance will run from 6:20 to 7:45 p.m. on the Fort Stage. Surprise guests are anticipated for this closing set.
Each day of the festival will feature local musicians opening on the Fort Stage. Friday sees Honest Charlie, Saturday features folk trio Princess June, and Sunday includes Mark Cutler, a 2015 Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame inductee.
Saturday's programming highlights "Sea to Shining Sea," a project exploring America's musical landscape at its 250th anniversary, hosted by Devon Gilfillian. Headliners for Friday include Ms. Lauryn Hill and Hayley Williams & Friends, while The Lumineers will headline Saturday, and Brandon Flowers is slated for Sunday.
