New Stars Shine in Broadway's Great Gatsby

Broadway's The Great Gatsby is set to feature new leads as China Anne McClain and Ryan McCartan prepare to take on iconic roles. McCartan will step into the shoes of Jay Gatsby starting July 27, with Reeve Carney concluding his run on July 26. This marks McCartan's fourth engagement as Gatsby. China Anne McClain is slated to debut as Daisy Buchanan on August 3rd. Eva Noblezada, who originated the role on Broadway, will have her final performance as Daisy on July 26.

The production, inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, boasts music and lyrics by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen, and a book by Kait Kerrigan. Marc Bruni is directing, with choreography by Dominique Kelley. The ensemble cast includes Corbin Bleu as Nick Carraway and Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, with Naturi Naughton-Lewis joining on July 31. Other cast members include John Behlmann, Linedy Genao, Charlie Pollock, and Matthew Saldívar.
