New Radicals Drop Surprise Song for Baffling Movie

New Radicals have surprised fans with a new song, "One Night Only (Break Loose Break Free!)", featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming film "One Night Only." This release follows their recent contribution to Michelle Branch's re-recorded "The Game of Love." The latter collaboration made sense given New Rad frontman Gregg Alexander's songwriting involvement.

The movie "One Night Only" centers on a unique premise: a society where pre-marital sex is illegal, with a single annual exception for single individuals. This unusual world-building, highlighted in trailers with lines like "Finding love is hard enough. Try doing it on the one night a year single people were legally allowed to have sex," has generated significant online discussion and bewilderment.

Adding to the film's distinct flavor, the score is composed by Este Haim, and King Princess offers a rendition of "Love Is in the Air." The film is set to premiere in theaters on August 7, promising to explore these unconventional themes further.
