This year's semifinalists from New Orleans include Donald Link and Stephen Stryjewski for Outstanding Restaurateur, E.J. Lagasse for Emerging Chef, and Evviva and Saint Claire for Best New Restaurant. Bywater Bakery is recognized for Outstanding Bakery, and Braithe Gill of Brennan's is a semifinalist for Outstanding Professional in Beverage Service.
Additionally, the Best Chef: South category features New Orleans chefs Ana Castro (Acamaya), Serigne Mbaye (Dakar NOLA), and Charly Pierre (Fritai).
