A new 750-seat concert venue, the Hilltop Theatre and Concert Hall, will open in Litchfield Park in October 2026. This facility is adjacent to a new school, the Hilltop School for the Arts, which focuses on training students for careers across the music industry, including performance, cinematography, and marketing.
The venue's design includes a chandelier lounge and a gallery for student art, with local vendor Modern Grind set to operate a coffee shop. The school and venue, part of the Agua Fria High School District, are named for their location on a historic hilltop.
Danny Zelisko Presents partnered with the school to create a space where future music industry professionals will learn their craft. Students will connect with artists, gaining behind-the-scenes access during sound checks and meet-and-greets, transforming performances into practical learning opportunities.
Zelisko highlighted the project's significance, stating it's one of his most meaningful endeavors after 50 years in concert promotion. He aims to bring outstanding concerts to the hall while inspiring the next generation of music industry leaders. The venue's location on the west side of the Valley is intended to serve a large, underserved population, reducing the need to travel into Phoenix for shows.
The Hilltop Theatre and Concert Hall will officially open on Saturday, October 10, with The Righteous Brothers' Lovin' Feelin' Farewell Tour. A performance by blues guitarist Samantha Fish is also scheduled for October 23. Tickets for both shows will go on sale Friday, June 26.
