Titan Comics is bringing two diverse narratives to life in graphic novel format. The first, "My Father's Dragon," is an adaptation of the Netflix animated feature, based on Ruth Stiles Gannett's cherished children's novel. This rendition, set to release on September 15, 2026, features artwork developed by the award-winning Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon and Oscar-nominated director Nora Twomey.
The story follows Elmer's journey to Wild Island to rescue a dragon, promising encounters with wondrous creatures and the development of a special friendship. Director Nora Twomey expressed excitement about the graphic novel adaptation by Samuel Sattin, noting it breathes new life into the story.
Additionally, "Highlander: The Original Screenplay," based on Gregory Widen's initial script, will be available on November 17, 2026. This graphic novel explores the immortal saga of Connor MacLeod as Widen first envisioned it, spanning centuries of epic duels and rivalries. Editor Jonathan Wilkins highlighted the opportunity to present the story as originally conceived, taking readers from the Scottish Highlands in the mid-1500s to 1980s New York.
