- "Balearic" film gets North American digital release on Fandor.
- Theatrical release for "Blue Heron" expands to over 90 U.S. theaters.

Two films, "Blue Heron" and "Balearic," are seeing their international distribution expand. Sophy Romvari's debut feature, "Blue Heron," has secured all-rights deals with King Records for Japan and BKS Cinema for Finland. This extends the film's global rollout as it continues its U.S. theatrical release, now in over 90 theaters.
Ion de Sosa's "Balearic," a Spanish-French production, is set for a North American digital release on Fandor. Its distributors have lauded the film as a "daring, genre-defying" work that captures the unease of the present moment.
Both films are handled by MoreThan Films, a sales agency that focuses on festival-selected titles. "Balearic" is described as a political and aesthetic statement, while "Blue Heron" follows an immigrant family on Vancouver Island. Another film, Gabriel Azorín's "Last Night I Conquered the City of Thebes," is also being highlighted at Cannes.
